Water Commercial – 3d

Water Campaign by tudy1311My Maya knowledge has doubled since we last met, internet!

I was required to make a campaign in which water was sold in an interesting fashion.

The concept our group came up with is to turn the water containers into different weights for lifting and bodybuilding. The concept containers range from 500 ml to 20l (for water coolers). After you have done drinking the thing, you fill them with tap water or whatever and use them to work out.

Now, the Adobe Suite is difficult to use for portraying such 3d objects with depth and transparency, whilst also displaying water inside the container. So I decided to blow the dust off the little Autodesk Maya skills i have, take them off the shelf and use them instead.

The problem to this was that I was so absorbed in learning/relearning how to “fly” that thing, that i went right for the walls composition wise. The Plastic containers are way too small compared to the text in the background. Epic at is may seem, it isn’t clear right away what the thing stands for.

Nonetheless, I still hope you guys like it and enjoy it as mere eye candy.

(it is a full HD Wallpaper for your monitor btw)
